Gluten-free Hawaiian Bread Rolls

Who doesn’t love the soft, sweet tender flavor of Hawaiian bread? I’ve had this recipe for a long time and always wanted to make gluten-free Hawaiian bread, this week I decided to finally do it.

I modified the original recipe. The result? Perfect! Tasty, mouth-watering Hawaiian bread, yum.

Here’s my recipe for Gluten-Free Hawaiian Bread Rolls.

Dry Ingredients
1 cup tapioca flour
¾ cup potato starch
½ cup brown rice flour
¼ cup of all purpose GF flour
1 packet yeast
⅓ cup sugar
2 teaspoons xanthan gum
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon of coconut milk powder

Wet Ingredients:
1¼ cups pineapple juice, room temperature
¼ cup butter, melted
2 large eggs, room temperature


Cooking Method
Step 1:
−  In a large mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients together
−  Slowly beat in pineapple juice, melted butter and egg

Step 2:
−  Grease & rice flour a muffin tin
−  Spoon dough into prepared muffin tin
−  Cover with a clean kitchen towel and set aside in a warm area for 1 hour for the dough to rise.

Step 3:
− Preheat oven to 325°
− Bake at 325° for 20-25 minutes until tops are brown
